THE CHRONICLES
Three Chapters of Deliberate Engineering.
How rejecting industry shortcuts shaped a career of independence, international trust, and practical SaaS creation:

2012 – 2018
The Frustration with CMS Bloat
I wrote my first lines of production web code over twelve years ago using raw, foundational building blocks: clean HTML, handcrafted CSS, vanilla JavaScript, and modular PHP linked to MySQL databases. The web was fast then, because developers actually understood what every line of code was doing.
Around 2014, the commercial web industry took a sharp turn toward convenience over quality. Agencies began churning out bloated WordPress sites built with heavy visual drag-and-drop builders. To deliver a basic contact form or slider, developers stacked forty different third-party plugins on top of a single database.
"When an agency installs 45 plugins to build an 8-page website, they aren't engineering software—they are assembling a digital house of cards waiting for the next security exploit."
The consequences were immediate: five-second page load times, weekly plugin updates that crashed production layouts, database bloat, and perpetual security panic. In 2015, I founded JESASTIC Web Design & IT Solutions with an uncompromising mandate: reject off-the-shelf page builders, write pure modular PHP and clean CSS, and guarantee sub-18ms TTFB performance with zero vendor lock-in.

The Canadian & US Tech Leadership Crucible
Writing clean code is only half of the equation; building software that drives commercial revenue requires cross-border organizational leadership and clear, asynchronous communication.
In 2021, I joined VIVIDOPTIMIZERS in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, as Project Manager and Technical Lead. Over five continuous years (2021–2026), I directed technical delivery across US and Canadian business accounts. I coordinated engineering sprints, conducted forensic technical SEO audits, overhauled website infrastructures, and automated CRM pipelines—all while working seamlessly across North American time zones.
"True remote leadership isn't about being in the same zip code. It's about proactive documentation, zero communication friction, and deploying code that never breaks at 2:00 AM."
Today, I also serve as Web & Technical Lead at BrandScales in Madison, Wisconsin, USA. In this active role, I spearhead digital architecture and performance engineering for American business clients, proving that deep technical execution and disciplined remote collaboration transcend geographic borders.

2024 – PRESENT
Building Digital Menu Maker
Over years of consulting for hospitality and retail clients, I saw a persistent operational tragedy: independent restaurants were getting crushed by two financial burdens. First, they were spending thousands every year constantly reprinting paper menus after seasonal price changes. Second, third-party food delivery aggregators were extracting an extortionate 30% commission tax on every takeout order.
Most restaurant owners tried to solve this with QR codes that simply opened 20-megabyte PDF files—forcing hungry diners to pinch-to-zoom on slow cellular connections, creating immediate bounce rates.
I knew this was fundamentally an engineering problem. I architected and built Digital Menu Maker (digitalmenumaker.com)—an all-in-one hospitality SaaS platform uniting progressive vector QR menus, real-time 4K TV menu boards, and direct, 0% commission Stripe ordering.
"Digital Menu Maker is living proof of my engineering philosophy: clean, lightweight code built to return thousands of dollars in hard profits directly back to small business owners."
The platform loads in under 18ms at the edge, routes payments directly into the restaurant's own bank account, and updates across tabletop acrylics and commercial TV screens in five seconds flat.
